The WR450F aluminum frame features flex characteristics that give riders the ultimate combination of precise cornering performance, traction and bump stability. The rigidity balance of the chassis, as well as engine mounts, top triple clamp and front axle increases rider confidence.
- Suspension Tuning
The 2022 WR450F features industry leading KYB™ suspension tuned in concert with the chassis to produce excellent cornering performance, traction and bump absorption. With smooth chassis movement, the rider is able to make the most of the engine’s exceptional power with confidence.
- Braking System
A rigid front caliper with large pad surface area aids feel and controllability. The front brake rotor dissipates heat efficiently for consistent performance under racing conditions.
- Multi-Function Enduro Meter
The compact meter has a high-contrast liquid crystal display with a fuel consumption indicator. The meter features two modes: Standard and Race. Standard mode displays the speedometer, two trips meters and clock functions while Race mode features average speed, timer and trip functionality along with low fuel and engine warning lights.

All available with the convenient push-button starting that features a compact starter motor.

Yamaha’s aluminum frame features flex characteristics giving riders the ultimate combination of precise cornering performance, traction and bump stability. The frame is derived from the YZ450F to centralize mass and provide an ideal balance between cornering feel and straight-line confidence. The rigidity balance of the chassis is specifically tuned for enduro riding.
